Overview of the Notification
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Phase-XIII/2025 Selection Posts Notification inviting online applications from 02 June to 23 June 2025 for various posts across Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India. The computer-based examination is tentatively scheduled from 24 July to 04 August 2025. Candidates must carefully check the eligibility criteria, post-wise qualifications, and age limits before applying. SSC has advertised posts under three education levels:

- Some posts (especially technical and departmental roles) require relevant work experience after acquiring the essential qualification.
- Internships or training during education are not counted.
🌐 Nationality
Candidate must be:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugee (arrived before 01.01.1962), or
- Person of Indian origin migrated from select countries (e.g., Pakistan, Sri Lanka, etc.) with Government of India certificate of eligibility.

General Selection Process
✅ SSC Phase-XIII/2025 – Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
1️⃣ Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
- Mode: Online (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions)
- Medium: English & Hindi (except English Language section)

🔹 Each question carries 2 marks.
🔹 Negative marking of
0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
2️⃣ Skill Tests (if applicable)
- For certain posts (like Data Entry Operator, Clerk, Steno etc.), Skill Test / Typing Test / Data Entry Test will be conducted as per requirements.
- These are qualifying in nature.
3️⃣ Document Verification (DV)
- Candidates who qualify the CBT will be called for document verification by the respective Regional Office.
- Candidates must carry original documents, such as:
- 10th / 12th / Graduation Certificates
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Experience certificate (if required for the post)
- ID proof, etc.
4️⃣ Final Selection
- Post-wise, category-wise, region-wise merit list will be prepared based on the normalized CBT score.
- There will be no interview.
📌 Note:
- Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT:
- UR: 35%
- OBC/EWS: 30%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 25%
- Marks will be normalized using SSC’s normalization formula since exams are held in multiple shifts.

You will receive an OTP for verification on your mobile/email.
3️⃣ Login to Your Account
Use your
Registration Number & Password to log in.
4️⃣ Click on ‘Apply’ Under Selection Post
Phase-XIII/2025
Select the relevant post level (Matriculation / 10+2 /
Graduate) and region.
5️⃣ Fill the Application Form
Enter
personal, educational, and communication details as per your
documents.
6️⃣ Upload Required Documents
- Passport size photo (20–50 KB, JPG/JPEG, recent with light background)
- Signature (10–20 KB)
- Category certificate / PwD certificate, if applicable
- Educational qualification certificates, if asked
7️⃣ Pay the Application Fee
