- Essential Academic Qualifications (as on 30.04.2025):
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Candidates in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may apply provisionally, but must provide proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 30.04.2025 if called for an interview.

Important Notes for Probationary Officer Qualifications:

If called for an interview, the candidate must produce a certificate from the relevant authority stating the University’s norms for grade conversion to percentage and the candidate’s converted percentage.
- Percentage calculation: Divide the total marks obtained in all subjects in all semesters/years by the aggregate maximum marks in all subjects, irrespective of Honours/optional/additional optional subjects. This applies even if the University determines the class/grade based solely on Honours marks. Fractions of percentages are ignored (e.g., 59.99% is treated as less than 60%).

Important Notes for Junior Associate Qualifications:
- The date of passing the eligibility examination is the date on the mark sheet/certificate or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. If the result is posted on the University/Institute’s website, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute indicating the date the result was posted will be taken as the date of passing.
