General Selection Process

Selection Process for various programs at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida and Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat) for Admissions 2025:

📌 B.Tech & Integrated M.Tech – JIIT & JUIT

✅ Selection through JEE Main 2025

• Candidates must have a valid JEE Main All India Rank (AIR).
• A common merit list is prepared based on AIR.
• Counselling is conducted at JIIT Noida for all four Jaypee universities.
• Seat allocation is based on merit, preferences, and availability.

✅ Selection through 10+2 Marks

• Merit list prepared based on aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one relevant subject.
• Candidates are invited for counselling based on this merit list.
• Final selection after document verification and fee payment.

📌 Direct Admission (Selected B.Tech Programs at JIIT only)

• Applicable for programs like AI&ML, ECM, EC(ACT), EE(VLSI), M&C.
• Based purely on 10+2 merit.
• No waiting list or program change allowed after admission.
• Admission is offered directly to top candidates as per seat availability.

📌 Lateral Entry to 2nd Year B.Tech – JIIT & JUIT

• Based on entrance test conducted by the university.
• Selection is made on test scores, 10th/12th, and Diploma/UG marks.
• Provisional admission is confirmed after document verification.

📌 BBA / BCA / B.Com / B.Sc. (CS) – JIIT

Selection Modes:

• Direct Admission: Based on 75% or above in selected subjects.
• JIIT-UGET: University-level entrance test.
• CUET (UG): Based on CUET UG score.
• Admission offer made on merit list prepared by university.

📌 Diploma Programs – JIIT

• Direct Admission for candidates scoring ≥75% in Class 10.
• Otherwise, selection based on D-JIIT Entrance Test (MCQ-based).

• Enter APAAR ID/ABC ID (optional, if created)
4. Upload Documents
• Passport-size photograph (recent)
• Signature of student and parent
• Scanned copy of mark sheets (as applicable)
5. Pay Application Fee Online
   Pay via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
• B.Tech/Integrated M.Tech: ₹1200
• BBA/BCA/B.Com/B.Sc./Diploma: ₹500
• M.Tech/MCA/M.Des/MBA/Ph.D.: ₹1000
  (NRI/NRI Sponsored: ₹1500)
6. Submit & Download Confirmation
• After successful payment, you’ll receive an Application ID
• Save/print the confirmation email and form for future reference

1. Collect the form from the JIIT/JUIT admission counter.
2. Fill it manually and submit it with required documents.
3. Pay the fee via Card/UPI at the counter.

📥 Important Notes

• You can apply for multiple admission modes, but each mode requires a separate form and fee.
• If applying under JEE and 10+2 both, submit two applications.
• You must upload final mark sheets before the last date (if appearing in 2025).
• Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

📌 Note: While there is no strict upper age limit, candidates must meet academic qualification year requirements, e.g., 10+2 passed in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.

• There is no concession in application fee for SC/ST candidates.
• The application fee is the same for General, SC, and ST categories for all programs.
• However, SC/ST candidates get relaxation in eligibility marks (usually 55% instead of 60%).
