The High Court of Himachal Pradesh has announced a total of 52 vacancies for the position of Stenographer Grade-III (Group-C) in the District Judiciary for the year 2025. These positions are divided into:

• Regular Positions: 22 vacancies
• Contractual Positions: 30 vacancies

Common Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Stenographer Grade-III (Group-C) positions in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh for the 2025 recruitment, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification

• Must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university.

2. Stenography and Typing Skills

• Stenography Speed: Minimum of 80 words per minute (WPM) in English.
• Typing Speed:
• 40 WPM in English.
• 30 WPM in Hindi using the Kruti Dev-10 font.

3. Additional Requirements

• Candidates should have knowledge of the customs, dialects, and suitability for appointment under the peculiar conditions prevailing in Himachal Pradesh.

General Selection Process

The selection process for the Stenographer Grade-III (Group-C) recruitment by the High Court of Himachal Pradesh in 2025 involves the following stages:

1. Stenography Test

• Speed Requirement: Candidates must achieve a minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute (WPM) in English.

2. Typing Test

• English Typing: Minimum speed of 40 WPM.
• Hindi Typing: Minimum speed of 30 WPM using the Kruti Dev-10 font.

Candidates who qualify in both tests will be considered for final selection based on merit. The High Court will announce the dates and venues for these tests on its official recruitment portal.
